Edgeworks has today announced the launch of their unique Recruitment Marketing Solution ‘JobDept’ (http://www.jobdept.co.uk/).

JobDept enables companies to maximise the organic exposure of their job vacancies across popular search engines, vertical (job specific) search engines, job boards, RSS directories and blogs to ensure access to the widest pool of talent.

  2. Search Engine Optimised (SEO) friendly job descriptions: enable search engines to index key words and descriptions for each and every job listing.
  3. Simple and intuitive management and administration interface: requires very little training and product support.
  4. RSS subscription: enable users to receive automated job alerts.
  5. XML feeds: enables organisations to feed multiple online job boards specific to their industry.
  6. Site Analytics: On-demand site analytics available to track and monitor visitor traffic.
  7. Fully secure and web compliant solution: organisations have peace of mind that JobDept will always meet industry best practice guidelines.

Introducing Google Analytics

Edgeworks is pleased to inform you that Google has launched Google Analytics, a detailed web monitoring service which enables customers to have a far greater insight into their website traffic.

This new service will enable Edgeworks to provide a greatly enhanced service to clients.

Statistics will become available much faster than before, with just a 24 hour delay, and as well as traffic and page use, we will be able to offer a detailed marketing analysis of your website traffic. One very useful feature will be the ability to configure the system to track all types of campaigns including keyword search, Pay-Per-Click and Email marketing. Naturally, the system will integrate directly into Google Adwords (Google PPC) to provide detailed ROI data.

Over the coming weeks Edgeworks will be testing and integrating Google Analytics into all of our client sites. We will also provide clients with their own Google Analytics account where they can access visitor traffic data 24/7.

We look forward to communicating the results of our tests and expect the enhanced information available via Google Analytics will be invaluable to us when planning future development and enhancement's to client sites.

If any of our clients or Agency partners have sites not registered with Edgeworks and would like to take advantage of this service, please contact us.

If you would like to find out more about Google Analytics please visit their website.

Edgeworks adopts Google Site Maps

You might have heard recently that Google has launched Google Sitemaps (BETA version) to allow website owners to improve their coverage within the Google index.

In its simplest form, Google Sitemap allows website owners to create a Sitemap-formatted file on your web server that helps the Google crawler discover and index your web pages.

Ultimately, a well-indexed site is the first step towards achieving higher online visibility.
Additionally, once created the Sitemap can be used to inform Google of changes to your website rather than waiting (and hoping) Google crawls and index's your website.

To ensure our clients benefit from this new service, Edgeworks will be creating Sitemaps for all our client sites and ensuring they are hosted, updated and submitted accordingly.

Existing clients can rest assured that this process will be initiated on their behalf over the coming weeks and we will email confirmation upon completion.

For clients and partners with sites not registered with Edgeworks, yet who would like to take advantage of this opportunity, please contact us to discuss how we can implement this service on your behalf on +44 (0)161 228 1712
