Edgeworks adopts Google Site Maps

You might have heard recently that Google has launched Google Sitemaps (BETA version) to allow website owners to improve their coverage within the Google index.

In its simplest form, Google Sitemap allows website owners to create a Sitemap-formatted file on your web server that helps the Google crawler discover and index your web pages.

Ultimately, a well-indexed site is the first step towards achieving higher online visibility.
Additionally, once created the Sitemap can be used to inform Google of changes to your website rather than waiting (and hoping) Google crawls and index's your website.

To ensure our clients benefit from this new service, Edgeworks will be creating Sitemaps for all our client sites and ensuring they are hosted, updated and submitted accordingly.

Existing clients can rest assured that this process will be initiated on their behalf over the coming weeks and we will email confirmation upon completion.

For clients and partners with sites not registered with Edgeworks, yet who would like to take advantage of this opportunity, please contact us to discuss how we can implement this service on your behalf on +44 (0)161 228 1712
